Dark eyes and lips

Dark Eyes - Dark Lip

Before carry out your treatment always make sure you do a client consultation first to check for skin type, contra-indication or any allergies.

Products used:
  • Eyeshadow
  • Lip Mix
  • Lip Palette
  • Brushes
  • Eye Liner
  • Mascara
  • Disposable mascara wand

It is always important before carrying out any treatment is to first prep the skin by cleanser, toner and moisturiser.

Method to creating Dark eyes and Dark lips:
  1. To begin with i first applied eyeshadow primer all over the eyelid. To create a clean base and so that the eyeshadow would last all day.
  2. I first started with a light colour in the inner corner of the eyes to brighten up the eyes.
  3. Then I used a medium colour matte medium brown for the mid of the eyes blending it with the light colour not extending the colour to the outer corner.
  4. To create my smokey eyes I did a sideways V shape starting from the lash line going up to the crease of the eyes and blending it in the eyelid crease.
  5. I then applied more darker colour and blended it within the mediums colour. I then blended out the edges of the eyes to make my smokey edge softer.
  6. Once both my eyes where done I then applied eyeliner creating a winged effect by first creating a line for the flick starting off very small then making the eyeliner thicker. While applying my eyeliner I asked my model to look away from the brush.
  7. One i finished my eyeliner I went back to my light colour and re-applied it to the inner corner to really make it pop.
  8. Using a disposable wand to apply my mascara I then asked my model to look down and and I pulled her lid lightly up and applied the mascara.

Lips:
  1. first prep the lips with balm asking my model to rub it in her lips so there is no moister left.
  2. Then I applied a light concealer around the edges of the lips to create a clean edge.
  3. I then applied lip liner to create on the lips to create my shape of the lips.
  4. I then applied my dark lip colour all over the lips making sure the edges are softly covered.
